We stayed here for two nights and found the bed to be really uncomfortable (could feel all the springs) and found it very difficult to sleep as the noise traveled from downstairs late at night! But the staff were friendly and we were able to park nearby and it has a good central location!
Civic Guesthouse is such a warm welcoming chill place to be. The staff are so cheerful and super helpful. The accommodation is very clean and constantly kept to a very high standard. They have a magic kitchen with heaps of fridges for all your food and drink. There are loads of cooking utensils plates cups etc. so regardless of the number of guests there is enough for everyone. There's a pooltable, TV, piano and couches to chill on. The outdoor tables for chatting and eating are great gathering areas for everyone who wants to chat and catch up or eat a meal with mates.All in all its a magic spot to stay in Townsville.
Super comfortable bed, very clean room and shared spaces!! Had a great vibe and the staff Is very personable and helpful! 5 Stars!!
I loved Civic Guest House! Perfect location in the city centre and they have shuttles every day that can bring you to the Greyhound stop and the Ferry Terminal (for your day trip to Magnetic Island). The rooms were nice and clean and so were all the communal areas! Theres a lovely courtyard where you can hang out and meet people!
I've stayed here twice. Nice and friendly staff. Good atmosphere, good location and prices. Very clean and full equiped kitchen. Shuttle bus service to the bus station for free. Rooms all clean and nice with air conditioner.Suggestion: They got an old vertical piano, you could try to tune it, that would be awesome :)5 Stars!
