This was not what I ordered, but waited 15 years for this monstrosity so I didnt complain to the waiter and attempted to eat it. Why I got baked beans in a bowl I will never know, the ribs where as tough as old boots and pairing the maple chicken wings with blue cheese sauce ruined my brain for at least 48hrs. The chef needs to get off the pipe and go to rehab.
The service by Gelita was immaculate. The Australians ability to have such a great bar and bistro in the midst of the Townsville floods is a testament to their service. You should definitely stop by for a meal and a beer.
Super friendly staff and locals! Looks great since Reno's were done! Great for a quiet beer over a game of pool or two :)
Been to Townsville twice within 6 weeks earlier this year for my first and found this awesome pub. The food is fantastic and the service is fast and friendly. I'll be going back again next time I'm there...
Lovely old pub. Met the owners, they are fantastically friendly! Usually a really good friendly atmosphere in general from all staff and patrons! When in doubt, you can always enjoy a beer and a feed here and not be disappointed!
