Had a meal one evening after an enjoyable walk along the Strand. Food service was quick snd friendly as was the service at the bar. The view of Magnetic Island and the Strand beach from the deck is pretty cool. Would certainly come back.

Great setting, nice atmosphere, however, I went with my sister for lunch and the waffle chips were served cold and the texture was like they had been cooked at least two hours before serving, they were also unsalted. The Vietnamese salad had very limited dressing, and no mint or coriander, so lacked any flavour. The entree salt and pepper calamari tasted nice, however, it was not crispy and was served with a limited salad mostly made from orange fruit pieces. Over all our experience was a big disappointment. Staff were very busy but pleasant.
