Nice regional museum. Had science shows over holidays, very good.
Been several times to the museum now, they always have great exhibitions for the kids, last time was dinosaurs and this time was science and Lego, the kids have a ball every time and they even have cheap prices for locals and free entry for nearby shires!
It is really affordable and changes their exhibits enough to make an annual membership a good idea. It is extremely child friendly (although my kids would have loved an update of the treasure hunt in the sunken ship). They do a great job during school holidays of mixing it up.
The best historical driving helmet exhibit I've ever seen. Interesting Pandora display.
The best museum Ive ever been to. I was so captivated by the life size ship in the main room, the play cannon firing you can take part in, the tropical fish species they explain, the trees and the shop wreck history. I feel as museums go this is impeccably memorable and full of boundless fun. I didnt come with a child, but as an adult enjoyed all the aspects of curiosity and adventure. :) I loved it deeply, I recommend it to everyone and Ill go again Im sure
